Jennifer is a senior environmental scientist and project coordinator in the botanical group of Astron. She has a wide range of experience in general environmental management and flora and vegetation management in the oil and gas industry, predominantly on Barrow and Thevenard Islands for Chevron Australia. She also has experience in field botany and vegetation mapping in the Pilbara and Kimberley regions of Western Australia for clients including Pilbara Iron, AngloGold Ashanti and Inpex, and in active bushland restoration in the South West of the State for Botanic Parks and Gardens Authority.
Jennifer's expertise lies in practical vegetation and flora management in the mining sector. Jennifer has been involved in the coordination of vegetation management for onshore oil and gas client, Chevron Australia, since 2005. Her experience has included preparation of vegetation management documentation for exploration activities and the development and implementation of systems to enable management of permit conditions for ongoing operations over a long-term timeframe.
Jennifer is currently coordinating projects for ongoing vegetation management in the oil and gas sector for clients including Chevron Australia and Apache Energy and is also coordinating vegetation survey projects associated with iron ore exploration for Citic Pacific Mining and BC Iron.
