With a large proportion of Australia’s mining projects occurring in remote and arid areas, specific local knowledge of appropriate rehabilitation techniques is essential if proponents are to comply with commitments and subsequent government conditions.
Astron has been involved in a number of rehabilitation projects throughout the arid rangeland and coastal areas of Western Australia, including minesite rehabilitation in the eastern and northern goldfields, and coastal rehabilitation in the Pilbara and offshore islands.
