Astron are guests at the UWA Science Union career panel

Found in: News

Astron’s Senior Environmental Scientist Tonja Boyd was recently a guest at the UWA Science Union’s career panel session. The aim of the panel was to provide science students with the opportunity to gain first-hand career information from science professionals currently working within the industry.

At least 20 science students attended the event from a range of science disciplines including environmental science, natural resource management, biochemistry and molecular biology, genetics, neuroscience and physiology.

The panel included Dr Megan Ellyard, UWA Science's Senior Advisor for student experience and Mark Bosnich, director and co-founder of Azure Consulting. The panel highlighted some of the many places a science degree can take you, answering a range of questions from students.

Astron enjoyed the opportunity to engage with young scientists embarking on their career and we wish them all the best, wherever their science degree may take them.
